2K Games and Visual Concepts have announced that the PC version of NBA 2K25 will be on par with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, including all current-generation technologies and abandoning the “legacy” setup previously held on the Windows platform.
This is obviously an important step forward for the sports franchise, which will also be able to offer PC users technologies such as ProPlay, which allows entire NBA games to be translated into games and introduces thousands of new animations for athletes for maximum visual realism.
On the gameplay side, there will also be room for the new dribbling engine, capable of generating dynamic movements based on the movements of real NBA players, avoiding opponents to finish at the basket or perhaps perform a fake to deceive the defense.
In addition to the graphical improvements, the game will also feature advanced routines for the artificial intelligence of the athletes on the field, on both sides, and many options aimed at completely customizing the experience.
