The game Prison Architect 2 will not be released in September as previously planned.
Developer Double Eleven extends the prison stay for Prison Architect 2 again.
In a message via X, it was announced that the planned release on September 3, 2024 will not take place.
The reason given is that after internal reviews and beta tests, the areas of performance and content need to be improved. This is the only way to deliver the best possible experience.
No new date has been announced at this time. The scope of the work required is currently being reassessed.
Over the next few months, they will be “improving the game and creating a more stable release schedule,” they say.
This is the third delay for Prison Architect 2. It was previously postponed from March 26 to May 7, 2024, and later to September 3.
