The Poco brand has announced the Poco M6 Plus smartphone, which is the fifth representative of the Poco M6 series, differing from the base model with a more powerful processor, as well as a higher screen refresh rate.
Poco M6 Plus is based on the eight-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE processor with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and an Adreno 613 graphics accelerator manufactured using a 4-nm process technology. The amount of RAM is 6 or 8 GB with the possibility of virtual expansion up to 16 GB, the flash drive capacity is 128 GB. There is also the possibility of expanding the storage thanks to support for microSD memory cards.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.79-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The peak brightness is 550 cd / m2. The display is protected from scratches by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A 13-megapixel selfie camera is located in the hole at the top of the screen.
On the back panel there is a camera with a main 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binarization (binning) technology and f/1.75 aperture, supplemented by a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography.
The 5,030mAh battery supports 33W fast charging. The smartphone’s specifications also include a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster, and a dual-SIM slot.
The Poco M6 Plus runs Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14. Poco promises two Android updates and four years of security patches. The smartphone comes in Misty Lavender, Ice Silver, and Graphite Black.
The Poco M6 Plus will go on sale in India on August 5. The 6GB RAM/128GB storage model will cost around $161, while the 8GB/128GB storage version will cost around $173.
