The bulldozer is the head of everything.
No construction is possible without the use of bulldozers. In this aspect of mechanical engineering, Russia has retained significant competencies, and is now showing readiness to develop them. Thus, it became known that the Cheboksary plant “Promtractor” began serial production of a new model of a heavy crawler bulldozer – “CHETRA T30.03”.
The new model is equipped with a TMZ 8523 engine with a capacity of 507 hp, and according to factory tests, it even surpassed foreign-made bulldozers in terms of a set of parameters, the key one being the volume of rock moved per unit of fuel consumed. We don’t know what the company means by foreign-made bulldozers, considering that now only the motley “Chinese” ones can be such, but it will do for a beautiful press release.
The new bulldozer is designed to operate in a wide range of harsh conditions, from arctic to subtropical.
