With PlayStation and Nintendo gone, Xbox has Gamescom all to itself, and it seems like it’s making the most of the opportunity, because apparently we’re going to see a new trailer for the first Starfield expansion, which will reveal the release date sometime in September.
This comes from leaker Odahfield on X/Twitter, who also claims that we’ll likely see Starfield’s second expansion, Starborn, sometime in 2025. We don’t really know anything about Starborn, but since it’s still a while away, we probably won’t see anything until next year.
It’s worth having the salt shaker ready for this one, but it makes perfect sense for Starfield’s first expansion to come out a year after the base game, and Todd Howard has said he wants expansions to come out annually. But knowing how slow Bethesda can be sometimes, it could be that we’ll see Shattered Space some time later. We won’t know until Gamescom, when we’ll likely get a closer look.
