The future of Silent Hill seems to be (ideally) bright, with Konami having recorded its best quarter ever and with the Japanese company intending to invest more and more money in the traditional video game business, starting with its flagship IPs such as Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid.
Silent Hill The Short Message has achieved 3 million downloads, Silent Hill Ascension didn’t shine but seems to have recouped its costs (ideally very low) and there are great expectations for Silent Hill Townfall and Silent Hill f.
Not only that, because according to what Dusk Golem reported, Konami has planned new appointments with the Silent Hill Transmission format, furthermore the Japanese publisher would have started the internal development of another Silent Hill game and there would also be “other things” related to the franchise. Dusk Golem is not clear on this point but we imagine that it could refer to serial and cinematic productions.
The Return to Silent Hill Movie Is in Production While Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released for PS5 and PC in October, now we just have to wait to see when we’ll know more about Silent Hill F, Silent Hill Townfall, and other projects related to Konami’s horror saga.
