Publisher THQ Nordic hosted the THQ Nordic Showcase 2024, where they talked about the projects they currently have in development. The company has a large number of well-known franchises in its “portfolio”, and new projects are being developed for many of them. Below is a list of announcements and demonstrations from THQ Nordic Showcase 2024 that relate to Xbox.
The Eternal Life of Goldman (no release date)
A 2D platformer from Weappy, a studio known for This Is the Police. The game was announced with a gameplay trailer, but there is no release date yet, but they promise to tell more information before the end of the year.
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed (September 24, 2024)
Former Nintendo exclusive Disney Epic Mickey is coming to all current gaming platforms in an updated form. They showed a new gameplay video and confirmed the release date.
Wreckfest 2 (no release date)
The official announcement of the sequel to the popular arcade racing game with car destruction took place. The developers promise in the second part “previously unseen accuracy of damage, thanks to the redesigned physics engine and the power of modern consoles.”
Titan Quest 2 (no release date)
The anticipated ARPG has received a new gameplay demo, but no release date has been announced. The developers promised players an interesting adventure in the ancient Greek landscapes.
Gothic 1 Remake (no release date)
The developers of the Gothic 1 remake have published the first gameplay demonstration. Players can expect a completely reworked classic role-playing game with a lot of new content and changes. The project is being created on Unreal Engine 5.
Way of the Hunter: Lintukoto Reserve (now available)
Right after the announcement, as in the previous year, the publisher is releasing a large DLC for Way of the Hunter. In it, you will go to Scandinavia to the Lintukoto Nature Reserve, which will offer a variety of biomes and animals.
New project from Tarsier Studios
Tarsier Studios, the creators of the two parts of Little Nightmares, is preparing something new. They showed a short teaser, and they promise to present the full project at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20.
Darksiders (no release date)
The official announcement of the new game in the Darksiders series has taken place. There are no details yet, but the developer is known – Gunfire Games.
