Avowed, the next RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, is indeed not coming out in 2024. As The Verge reporter Tom Warren predicted, the game’s release moved for 2025: it will be released on February 18.
As Microsoft explains, Avowed was decided to be postponed due to the large number of projects coming out at the end of 2024. In the fall and winter, the corporation’s gaming division plans to release 8 new games or add-ons.
More details about Avowed will be discussed at Microsoft’s streams at Gamescom. The broadcast dedicated to the game is scheduled for August 23.
Avowed is in development for PC and Xbox Series.
