Turns out, you can cheese Rellana by going to the rear fog wall by Highroad Cross and using Flame of the Fell God. It will travel into her arena and explode.

Tricks That Require a Lot of Preparation
The trick is easy to do, but many things need to be prepared.
This cheese trick is actually easy to do, but the process is quite long. You need to use an Incantation called Flame of the Fell God which can be obtained by defeating Adan, Thief of Fire in Liurnia of the Lakes. To be able to use this Incantation, the character’s stats need to have a minimum Faith of 41.
After having the Flame of the Fell God, you only need to shoot it right from the edge of Rellana’s entrance area. However, considering the limited range of this Incantation attack, you need to do it from behind the gate behind her. That means you need to go around here and there to enter the next area called Highroad Cross which is guarded by Rellana.
