At the same time, the project also had a website that published news, interviews, reviews and other materials daily. It was closed along with the printed version of the publication. Now the website has an informational message about its closure, and all pages created over the years are redirected to the main page. Thus, it is no longer possible to get acquainted with previously published materials.
According to the publication’s information My CityGame Informer journalists learned on August 2 that the publication was closing and that they were being fired. GameStop executives called the publication’s managers and informed them that it was closing. The information message that can now be seen on the site was not written by Game Informer representatives, as the journalists claim.
It is worth mentioning that Game Informer regularly had exclusive materials to publish. In particular, in the last few weeks they shared details about Dragon Age: The Veilguard and promised to tell even more information about the game in the near future. But now one of EA’s main information partners for covering the expected role-playing game has been closed.
