We’ve already seen numerous blockbusters on the big screen this year. Deadpool & Wolverine are currently dominating the discourse, but Marvel isn’t the only company making headlines this summer. Pixar, for example, was able to celebrate an almost ridiculously successful comeback with Inside Out 2.
Alien is about to make its comeback. Admittedly, one can look at the next return of a well-known brand to the cinema with a little cynicism. But perhaps the horror film is a successful attempt to remake a cinema classic.
When will Alien: Romulus be released in theaters?
In Germany, the cinema release of Alien: Romulus is planned for August 15, 2024. Until then, there will probably be a few more reports about the project, but there is no shortage of trailers, screenshots or interviews about the film. Currently, the self-proclaimed return to the roots of the series is being actively promoted.
For example, we recently discussed the extremely impressive poster for the film. We featured the trailer on our website in June. Aside from the movie, we are working on a number of other ideas relating to the brand, such as a brand new TV series starring Sydney Chandler.
First, however, the focus is on Alien: Romulus. To coincide with the upcoming cinema opening, 20th Century Studios has released a new clip from the horror film. This should give us another taste of the adaptation.

In addition to Isabela Merced, the upcoming film will feature actors such as Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson and Archie Renaux. The question now is how the project will fare in the ratings. Riddley Scott, one of the leading minds behind the original, is back on board.
