Koei Tecmo Developing Dynasty Warriors 8 Mobile?
Niko Partners reports that the National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) has approved 15 games on August 2, 2024, to be released in China.
Some of these games include:
A Rainbow Six game for mobile and PC. Rainbow Six Mobile will be published by Tencent in China and is planned for release in 2025. NetEase Games has acquired the license for two games based on Marvel IP, including MARVEL SNAP and Marvel Rivals. Nintendo has acquired the license for Mario Golf: Super Rush and Paper Mario: The Origami King. Both games will be published by Tencent in China for the Nintendo Switch. A mobile game based on Final Fantasy XIV, which is being developed by Tencent and Square Enix, has been approved. A mobile game based on Dynasty Warriors 8, which is being developed by Century Network, TCI Play, and Koei Tecmo, has been approved.
