Previously, insiders reported that the role-playing action game Avowed, created by the Obsidian Entertainment team, will not be released this year. Today, Microsoft representatives officially confirmed this information.
It became known that this project will be released on February 18 next year. The company noted that they made this decision for one simple reason – at the end of 2024, too many games from the gaming division of the corporation are already being released, so they do not want to create increased competition between them.
Note that new details about Avowed will appear during live broadcasts held at the gamescom 2024 exhibition. The next stream will take place on August 23. Recall that the game is expected to be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
