In addition to fragile displays, foldable smartphones had another big problem that prevented them from finding a response in the hearts of a wide range of consumers. Despite the high price, their cameras were quite modest. According to Samsung, in their new 6th series, they have significantly improved both the software and hardware. So, the flagship Galaxy Z Fold 6 is equipped with three lenses: 50 MP, f / 1.8, ultra-wide-angle 12 MP, f / 2.2 and telephoto 10 MP, f / 2.4. All this is enhanced by the functions of the proprietary artificial intelligence and updated processing algorithms.
Unfortunately, this did not help the device much, and the camera quality remained at the level of mid-budget models. Today, DXOMARK published the results of testing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 cameras. The smartphone took 46th place in the global ranking with a total score of 133.
