During a live broadcast, miHoYo Studio (HoYoverse) talked about the innovations in the large-scale update 1.1 for the adventure game Zenless Zone Zero.
The update will be released on August 14 and will be dedicated to the security service of the city of New Eridu. The plot will be connected with the investigation and two police officers from the Special Department, who will become playable heroes. The title will feature:
Tyrant Cat Jane Doe (Anomaly and Physical Damage). She will hide her true identity; Agent Qingyi (Intimidation and Electro) of the New Eridu City Public Security; Seth Lowell (Defense, Electro) of the New Eridu City Police.
Banners will also start appearing on August 14. Players will be able to get Qingyi until September 3. Then a banner with Seth Lowell and Jane Doe will appear (September 3-24). The developers will also add a permanent battle mode to the zero cavern. There will also be temporary events:
Login event for 10 spins for banners; Photo event with pictures of heroes; Event with police officers of the city of New Eridu (in it you can become a sheriff); Event with restoration of videotapes in the store.
