The new AMD Ryzen 9 9900X processor has appeared in the PassMark benchmark database. Let us remind you that this is a 12-core “stone” with 24 threads and a boost frequency of up to 5.6 GHz. The TDP of this solution is 120 W, and its performance in the benchmark exceeds the i7-14700K in multi-thread (53863 points against 53443). In single-thread testing, the upcoming new product turned out to be only slightly slower than the i9-14900KF (in the screenshot below).
Let us recall that the i7-14700K is a 20-core processor, which uses 8 productive and 12 energy-efficient cores, and the TDP of this “stone” under load reaches 253 W.
