The player’s task is to drive smoothly into the appropriate place.
After the release of update 1.51, several more companies will appear in the truck simulator American Truck Simulator that support realistic loading and unloading of heavy trucks. Currently, such companies are only available in Nebraska.
The developers intend to expand the new mechanics to Arkansas and Kansas. In these states, animal feed, potatoes, corn, grain, soybeans, beets, and cottonseed will be realistically loaded (and unloaded) when the player delivers them on a grain truck.
Additionally, players on chip trucks will be able to see realistic loading and unloading when delivering cottonseed and wood chips. This mechanic will initially be available only in Arkansas, with more businesses to support it in the future.
To activate realistic loading/unloading, players need to drive their heavy-duty truck into a specially marked place. Then everything will happen automatically.
The developers have not announced when exactly American Truck Simulator will receive update 1.51.
