Despite high fan demand and several rumors that have emerged over the years, the release of Bloodborne on PC remains a pipe dream, as does a possible Remastered for PlayStation 5. There seem to be no clear clues about the return of the iconic FromSoftware work, but now a famous streamer wants to give his contribution.
Kai Cenat, currently one of the most popular streamers on Twitch with over 12 million followers, has in fact started playing Bloodborne live with the aim of attracting the attention of Sony and FromSoftware and thus convincing them to finally create a re-release of the game. During a live broadcast, Cenat explained the reason for this new initiative: “I don’t think I have the power to do it, but I certainly have the power to bring attention to a topic in the Souls community. I think the developers have been watching my every move when I’ve played these games, so the least I can do is try to get attention so that something happens,” says the streamer.
Cenat then addresses Sony and FromSoftware directly: “Bloodborne is one of the most requested games for a Remastered or a PC version. I joined this Community, I want to continue and ask you please if you can do something about it”. It is unlikely that the initiative of a very popular streamer could be enough to convince the two companies to prepare the long-awaited return of Bloodborne, but as always, hoping costs nothing.
In recent weeks, hopes have emerged for Bloodborne to be at least emulated on PC, but there is still a long way to go. For now, therefore, FromSoftware’s work continues to be an absolute PlayStation 4 exclusive.
