It has been known since at least August last year that Avalanche Software is recruiting for a new project. It is not clear what it is, but the success of “Hogwarts Legacy” makes a successor conceivable. A current job advertisement now gives an indication that a sequel to the popular open-world action role-playing game in the “Harry Potter” universe could be in the works.
As discovered by Game Rant, open positions require experience with “action/magic combat games”. According to the job advertisement, the “new open-world action RPG” will also have a “Live Ops” phase. This is in line with the Warner Bros. Announcement from Marchto invest more in live service games in the future, which upset many fans of the previous AAA titles.
