Not only Xbox, but Nintendo also wanted to remind all its users of the list of exclusives already announced and coming to the Switch family consoles between now and next year.
Nintendo Exclusives Coming to Switch by the End of 2024
There are seven exclusive video games listed by Nintendo during the most recent meeting with shareholders, namely: Emio – The Man Who Smiles: Famicom Detective Club – August 29, 2024 The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – September 26, 2024 Super Mario Party Jamboree – October 17, 2024 Mario & Luigi: The Brotherhood of Brothers in Arms – November 7, 2024 Donkey Kong Country Returns HD – January 16, 2025 Pokemon Legends: ZA – TBA 2025 Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – TBA 2025
From the list shared by Nintendo, it is clear that 2024 still has a lot to say, with four exclusives scheduled in the space of a few months, as well as capable of satisfying a wide variety of tastes thanks to their diversity. Emio – The Man Who Smiles: Famicom Detective Club is a disturbing and twisted thriller in which you have to investigate the murder of a middle school student, while The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom reverses the point of view of the reference series by putting Princess Zelda in the role of absolute protagonist. Super Mario Party Jamboree is a candidate for a must-have of the Christmas holidays with more than 110 mini-games to play in the company of your friends and family (the highest number ever for the series), finally Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood of the Boat sees the Mario brothers in the role of sailors aboard Solcamari Island (half island and half ship).
As for 2025, the only one with a date is the HD remake of Donkey Kong Country Returns, while Pokémon Legends: ZA and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond still don’t have one, but we’re not surprised: Nintendo doesn’t usually announce dates too far in advance, preferring instead to communicate them when they are absolutely certain. We’ll know more in the coming months! Also, don’t forget that 2025 is also the prospect of a new Nintendo Switch…
