Xbox is trying to ease the disappointment of Avowed’s delay to 2025 with an infographic that reminds us of the large number of first-party games already with a release window set between now and next year.

As much as the postponement of Avowed hurts, it must be admitted that for the rest of 2024 Xbox is well covered, with eight productions between complete video games and large expansions arriving by the end of the year. Five of them already have a date, while for the others – Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the Shattered Space expansion of Starfield and Towerborne – we expect good news by the end of August, since in the coming weeks events such as the D23 Expo are expected, which could have Indy among the protagonists, and above all Gamescom 2024, the largest European fair.
As for 2025, the only one with a firm date is Avowed, which has just been postponed, but given the months that still separate us from next year, we are not at all surprised. There will be plenty of opportunities to (re)present South of Midnight, DOOM: The Dark Ages and Fable, and perhaps accompany them with additional titles: between Perfect Dark, State of Decay, Gears of War: E-Day, Everwild, Contraband, OD, The Outer Worlds 2 and Clockwork Revolution, Microsoft has quite a few productions just waiting for a launch window.
