After “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2”, the next big shooter has been affected by a leak of an early build. This time it was “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” from Treyarch.
Publisher Focus Entertainment recently admitted that the company had fallen victim to a leak. As a result, a non-final build of the shooter “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2” found its way onto the internet.
According to current reports, the next well-known shooter was hit at the end of last week. We’re talking about “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6”. A leaked developer version of the upcoming Treyarch shooter also appeared online. As is usual with leaks of this kind, the developers and the responsible publisher, in this case Activision, are trying to counter the leaks with copyright blocks.
However, users were once again quicker and secured various pieces of information. This includes the names of 20 multiplayer maps, 16 of which will be available at launch.
These include a dozen “6 vs. 6” cards and four cards that can be played in both “2 vs. 2” and “6 vs. 6” mode.
Overview of the maps included in the leak
Vorkuta Mine
Vorkuta
Catacomb
Flat
Dig
Babylon
Train Graveyard
Russian Base
Socotra 2
Hacienda alt
Strip mall
Red Card
Firing Range 2

The leak also included details about the perks, impressions of the revised user interface and showed the new “Omnimovement” system in action. As various leakers report, we don’t have to worry about spoilers.
Scenes from the campaign were therefore not part of the leak.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” will be released on October 25, 2024 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. As with its various predecessors, the developers of “Black Ops 6” are also relying on a beta phase before the release.
The closed beta for early access users will take place from August 30th to September 4th, 2024. The open beta for all interested parties will be available from September 6th to 9th, 2024.
