Preparations for the release of Intel Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) processors are gaining momentum. The official release of the new generation of mobile chips will take place in less than a month, and Intel partners are busy testing devices based on them. In particular, one of the future MSI laptops was spotted in Geekbench online database.
We are talking about the MSI Prestige 13 AI+ EVO laptop based on the Intel Core Ultra 5 228V processor. This is an 8-core/8-thread CPU with a frequency of up to 4.5/3.5 GHz (P-/E-cores), eight megabytes of L3 cache, integrated Arc A130V graphics, an NPU unit with a performance of 40 TOPS and a 17-watt Processor Base Power (PBP) level. The new product is equipped with 32 gigabytes of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM.
As for the test results, in the single-threaded test, the Core Ultra 5 228V scored 2585 points, which is better than the current Core Ultra 9 185H with a 54-watt PBP. At the same time, the multi-threaded result (10,053 points) is generally in line with the level of other Lunar Lake CPUs. You can compare the results of its closest competitors in the table.
We remind you that the official release of Intel Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) processors is scheduled for September 3rd.
