Publisher Deep Silver and developers from the Czech Warhorse Studios announced about plans to promote its medieval action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 throughout August.
As it became known, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will appear at Opening Night Live — the opening ceremony of the gamescom 2024 exhibition — with a gameplay teaser, following Sid Meier’s Civilization VII. The show starts on August 20 at 21:00 Moscow time.
The next day, August 21, the developers will hold a gameplay demonstration of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 lasting more than 20 minutes. At the same time, journalists will share their impressions from their personal acquaintance with the game.
Additionally, news about Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is expected throughout gamescom 2024 (August 21-25), and a public demo of the project will be available on the show floor.
As a reminder, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will throw players into the midst of the civil war in Bohemia in the 15th century. The main character is again Henry of Skalitz, who is still seeking revenge for the death of his loved ones.
They promise an open world approximately twice as large as the original game, a reputation system, a realistic combat system, five hours of intro videos, graphics on CryEngine and text translation into Russian.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Coming to PC in 2024 (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game still doesn’t have an exact release date, but given the scale of the upcoming presentation, it could well be announced at gamescom 2024.
