Monster Hunter Wilds promises to be one of the main protagonists of Gamescom 2024, where it will also be present in playable format. But while waiting for the Cologne event to begin, Capcom is teasing its fans by publishing new videos focused on the mechanics of the new Monster Hunter.
The main new feature is the Focus Mode, which allows our character to assume a position that allows him to attack and parry much more effectively than normal attacks that require holding a precise position to maximize their effectiveness. The Focus Mode also allows us to inflict wounds on monsters by repeatedly attacking specific parts of their body, thus being able to cause even greater damage to our target.
Capcom then illustrates the basic mechanics by showing us the actions, attacks and movements of our hunter, who this time can also rely on the Seikret to cover greater distances more quickly by riding it. The Seikret can also be a valuable ally in battle, coming to our aid in case of difficulty and allowing us to quickly change weapons while we are galloping. In general, Capcom’s work wants to be very ambitious in terms of graphics and technology, with Monster Hunter Wilds that will push the capabilities of PS5 and Xbox Series X / S to the maximum.
Precisely because of the technological ambitions behind the game, Monster Hunter Wilds will not be coming to Nintendo Switch, but who knows if a possible Nintendo Switch 2 will not be powerful enough to push the Osaka company to create a porting of it.
They are Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope – Nintendo Switch is one of the best-selling games today.
