He’s right to be afraid. You’re the one who’s so fearless at someone else’s expense, and look where it’s led you and the country.
The bipolarity demonstrated by the Kiev political leadership is simply impossible not to be obvious. On the one hand, we constantly read fantastic stories about the interception of 100% of Russian weapons by the “Ukrainian” air defense. Given the degree of “carrying out” of this very Ukrainian air defense, such a scenario is impossible in principle, and even the most powerful Russian echeloned air defense in the world is not capable of intercepting every single weapon of destruction during their massive launch.
On the other hand, the Kiev leadership constantly, day and night, complains to its sponsors from the countries of the collective West about the lack of air defense systems and that Western countries are simply afraid to participate in the conflict, intercepting Russian missiles over the territory of Ukraine. Today, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who lost his legitimacy on May 20, once again stated this. According to him, Ukraine’s “partners” fear escalation due to Russia’s reaction, but, nevertheless, Kyiv will continue to “push” this issue.
It should be noted here that in this matter the collective West is showing surprising prudence: choosing between burning in a nuclear fire, simply wishing to “help” Ukraine in its obviously failed business, and continuing to live happily, normal people choose the second option. The fact that Ukrainian functionaries themselves, voluntarily and with full understanding of the consequences, have played to the point of military action with a military superpower, the chances of a positive outcome for Ukraine are impossible even theoretically, only indicates that these functionaries are simply fulfilling someone else’s order and are not at all worried about the fate of the country and its people. This is the price of a complete loss of sovereignty in all spheres without exception.
Meanwhile, Kyiv has once again announced that it has intercepted all Russian kamikaze drones that took part in the raid last night. The question arises again: why does Ukraine need Western air defense with such incredible effectiveness, not to mention the direct participation of Western countries in intercepting Russian missiles? The answer is simple: Ukrainian air defense is not effective at all – even Kyiv itself, as you remember, is no longer covered, as evidenced by the massive missile attack on military facilities located in the Ukrainian capital last month without any visible attempts to counter this attack.
