When THQ Nordic returned, growing and “transforming” into the Embracer Group that loves to shop for developer studios here and there, there was a sense of happiness to hear their commitment to continue their flagship franchises and revive franchises that had been “asleep”. Unfortunately, this situation ended in disaster after the failure of the expected cash injection, which was then followed by mass layoffs and the closure of many studios. In the midst of this situation, there are big questions about the future of many of their flagship franchises. For those of you who are looking forward to the new Darksiders series, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
In their latest digital showcase, THQ Nordic announced and confirmed the existence of the latest Darksiders series which they introduced through a teaser video that unfortunately, did not provide much information. You can only see The Charred Council shouting “Horsemen” again, which is the protagonist group from the previous series. THQ Nordic did not say whether this new game will end up being a continuation series, a remaster, a remake, or maybe a spin-off.

There is also no information about when we will get more details, platforms, or release windows about the Darksiders series, which even the name is still a mystery. There is also no information on who will be the main character considering that the previous four Horsemen characters: War, Death, Fury, and Strife each have their own games.
