Users were able to find information about a mysterious project being developed by Valve in the resume of Natasha Chandel, who voices characters in games. It is codenamed Project White Sands.
It is not known who exactly the actress voices, and what the game will be about. However, many players are sure that we are talking about the new part of Half-Life. The fact is that there is a park called “White Sands”, which is located in New Mexico, and it is there that the famous Black Mesa laboratory is located.
Some also note that we may be talking about snow (white sand), because it has long been known that the third part was supposed to tell about the search for the ship “Borey”, which is located in a snowy location. Although it was later noted that the developers abandoned this idea, they could well return to it.
Insider Tyler McVicker notes that Project White Sands is indeed part of the Half-Life series, but it is unlikely that we are talking about a third one. However, its main character will also wear a HEV suit. Unfortunately, he did not provide any evidence for his words.
Valve did not comment on this information, and the name of the project soon disappeared from the actress’s resume.
