Publisher Saber Interactive and developers from the Italian studio Stormind Games (Remothered series, Batora: Lost Haven) revealed the exact release date of the single-player first-person horror game A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead.
Let’s recall that A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a spin-off of the horror film series “A Quiet Place”. The game was presented in mid-June and promised to be released during the rest of 2024.
As it became known, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead will go on sale on October 17 of this year for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The announcement was accompanied by a 50-second gameplay trailer.
Following the announcement, pre-orders for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead have started. The game can be purchased on Steam for 1,399 rubles. As a bonus, there is a set of Hospital Care Package items, concept art, and a gallery of animations of one of the local monsters.
The plot of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead tells the story of a young woman for whom the onset of the apocalypse (the world is filled with creepy, but blind monsters) coincided with the outbreak of family conflicts and personal fears.
Like the heroes of the A Quiet Place films, the protagonist of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead must sneak past nightmarish creatures with sensitive hearing and use ingenuity to solve the problems at hand.
They promise a tense atmosphere of “unimaginable horror,” an original story not connected to the plots of the films, a frighteningly quiet post-apocalypse, and a text translation into Russian.
