Konami Digital Entertainment BV and Scottish studio KeelWorks Ltd have announced that the shooter CYGNI: All Guns Blazing is available today on all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will also be coming to the cloud gaming platform Blacknut very soon.
It should be noted that on PC there will soon be an alternative to purchasing, because starting Thursday CYGNI: All Guns Blazing will be free for a week on the Epic Games Store. So, if you play on this platform and don’t mind waiting a couple of days, you can have it for free.
A classic experience
To celebrate the launch, we are going to watch a trailer that shows the main features of CYGNI: All Guns Blazing. So there is a lot of combat, a demonstration of the weapon customization, a glimpse of the local co-op mode and more.
CYGNI: All Guns Blazing is a vertically scrolling twin-stick shooter that combines classic elements with cutting-edge graphics. We talked about it extensively in our review, where we applauded the innovations brought to the genre, however small, the spectacular graphics and the well-crafted progression system, which is balanced, although challenging. Less appreciable are the very short duration (normal for the genre anyway) and some uncertainties in the most hectic phases of the game, which can lead to unfair deaths. They are not frequent, but we hope that all the problems will be solved as soon as possible, so as to offer players the cleanest experience possible.
