Activision has announced the date and time of Call of Duty NEXT, the event in which the gameplay, multiplayer and Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be presented: the stream will begin on August 28, starting at 6:00 PM PT.
“The information we’ve gathered on the ground is just scratching the surface,” Activision said in a blog post. “Watch the full reveal and watch Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gameplay live during COD NEXT on August 28.”
Needless to say, the message refers to the leaks that the game has been the victim of in the last few hours, and which have revealed in advance many details and in-game sequences, as part of one of the most sensational incidents ever for the series.
Will it finally get everyone to agree?
While it’s true that some leaked Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 materials are causing a lot of discussion, at the same time we know that the Activision franchise remains one of the most popular ever and this serious incident is unlikely to affect its fortunes.
In particular, since its reveal, Black Ops 6 seems to have convinced the saga’s numerous fans, both on a narrative level thanks to the campaign set during the Gulf War, and with regards to the new gameplay features, above all the omnidirectional movement system.
