At the end of 2023, the long-awaited new part of Monster Hunter was announced. Publisher Capcom presented Monster Hunter Wilds, and the game is due out in 2025, although it currently does not have an exact release date. The developers promise to create a living world in the game, using the capabilities of Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5.
Capcom decided to tell a little more about Monster Hunter Wilds. They published several videos that show various moments of gameplay of the expected new product.
The more than 2-minute video talked about some of the basic mechanics of Monster Hunter Wilds. In particular, it showed the process of moving around the world. Players will be able to explore it not only on foot, but also on a mount, while preparing their equipment as they move.
The 50-second video focuses on how the game’s greatsword works. The franchise’s classic weapon will be making an appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds, and you can see how it works in the video below.
The 1-minute video talks about changes to the focus system. Players will be able to use it to better select points for attack, as well as identify weak points of the enemy.
The release date for Monster Hunter Wilds has not yet been announced, but the game is planned for release on Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5, and PC.
