A few days ago we heard a rumor that the role-playing game “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” will be released at the end of October. The rumor mill has been given new fuel by the official art book for the fantasy RPG.
A few days ago, the developers at BioWare confirmed that the studio will reveal the release date of the role-playing game “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” this month.
In addition, publisher Electronic Arts narrowed down the release period in its current annual report. As EA confirmed, “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” is scheduled for release in the third quarter of the 2024/2025 fiscal year. This means that the release will take place sometime between October 1 and December 31, 2024.
The publisher Dark Horse is currently causing new rumors and speculations. They could change the date of “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” have leaked.
Will the fantasy RPG be released at the end of October?
EA and BioWare, in collaboration with Dark Horse, are publishing the official art book for “Dragon Age: The Veilguard”. As can be seen from entries on Dark Horse’s official website that have since been removed, the art book will be released in both a standard and a deluxe edition.
In addition, Dark Horse listed the said artbook for a release on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
The community assumes that October 30, 2024 could also be the release date of “Dragon Age: The Veilguard.” Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb recently hinted that the fantasy RPG could be released at the end of October.
EA or the developers at BioWare did not comment on the rumors about the release date of the new “Dragon Age” adventure.
Announcement planned during Opening Night Live?
There is speculation that BioWare and EA could use the Opening Night Live event at Gamescom 2024 to announce the release date of “Dragon Age: The Veilguard”. The event, hosted by Geoff Keighley (The Game Awards), will take place on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
