A few hours after the publication of Microsoft Gaming’s financial report for the period between April and June 2024, FromSoftware also revealed details regarding its performance on the market.
The Japanese company has in fact confirmed that in the 2024 fiscal year it recorded a drop in sales and earnings that however did not prevent it from closing in the black. More specifically, the report highlights a 29% drop in revenue compared to the previous year and an operating income that is 50% lower than that of 2023. Despite everything, however, in the first case we are talking about earnings of 101 million US dollars and in the second of 43 million US dollars.
In short, this decline has not had any negative impact and is physiological, given that last year the company only published Armored Core 6, a product that had considerable success but that cannot be compared to a hit like Elden Ring, which continued to sell even during the fiscal year that has just ended. It should also be noted that the fiscal year 2025 will see FromSoftware record much better results, given that the launch of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree will also be taken into account.
They are Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope – Nintendo Switch is one of the best-selling games today.
