The developers of Monster Hunter Wilds continue to talk about the weapons available in the hunter’s arsenal. Last time we got acquainted with the Great Sword, the new video is dedicated to the Heavy Bowgun, a heavy cannon.
As in previous parts of the series, the Heavy Bowgun is a mixture of a machine gun and a grenade launcher, allowing you to fire at enemies in bursts or give rare volleys of more powerful shells.
When using a gun, as with a sword, a mode can be activated that highlights the vulnerable spots of monsters. If you hit such a spot, the enemy will receive increased damage.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released in 2025 on PC and new consoles.
