Santa Monica Studio Developing A New IP?
As spotted by someone on ResetEra, Glauco Longhi’s LinkedIn account states that the studio behind the God of War franchise is developing “their new IP.”
“Santa Monica Studio gave me the opportunity to return as Character Supervisor, overseeing all character development, on their new IP, so here I am, very excited to be back, working with the crew again and pushing the characters in the game together,” Longhi’s LinkedIn account reads.
At the time of publication, Longhi had removed references to “their new IP” from his LinkedIn account and replaced it with “new unannounced project.”
Longhi first worked as a senior character artist for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End at Naughty Dog, before taking on the same role for God of War (2018) at Santa Monica Studio.
He then served as lead character artist for God of War Ragnarök, before joining Striking Distance Studios, where he worked as character and art director for The Callisto Protocol.
Now, Longhi has rejoined Santa Monica Studio in early 2024 to oversee character development on a new project.
