Yakuza Wars Flash Info
Sega registers new trademark in video game category
Sega has filed a trademark for Yakuza Wars on the official Japanese website. The trademark was registered on June 26 in Japan, but was only published on Monday (8/5). The title was registered under the video game category, confirming that the trademark is a game and not another Sega service.
This, coupled with Sega previously announcing the next Yakuza game at the 2024 Tokyo Game Show, suggests the possibility of a Wars version being the title of a new game in the popular franchise.
However, there is no information yet whether this is a sequel or the latest spin-off other than the publication of the trademark and is still an assumption that can change at any time. So, let’s just wait for the official details, Brott!
