It seems that the debut of UFL is not too far away: according to Insider Gaming, the free-to-play football title from Strikerz Inc already has a definitive release date and fans will only have to wait a little over a month.
UFL is expected to become a reality on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on September 12, 2024, approximately two weeks ahead of EA Sports FC 25, which is expected to release on September 27. Insider Gaming reports the news as an official statement from Strikerz Inc., but the company has yet to release any definitive announcements on the matter, so we can only wait for further communications to be completely certain.
In the meantime, the second Open Beta of UFL took place between August 2nd and 4th, allowing all interested players to experience first-hand the latest progress made by the developers compared to the previous Open Beta. UFL aims to position itself as an alternative to Electronic Arts’ football games, with gameplay that also offers modes similar to FIFA/EA Sports FC’s Ultimate Team, allowing users to create their dream team.
