Fortunately, things are looking a little rosier in the gaming sector, as Star Wars Outlaws, which many fans have been eagerly awaiting, is about to be released – and now boasts some fantastic news.
When will Star Wars Outlaws be released?
After a long wait, the launch of Star Wars Outlaws (buy now €69.99 / €62.99) will finally take place on August 30, 2024. That’s when the community-awaited action-adventure from developer Massive Entertainment (The Division 2) will be released for PC and consoles. The game had only recently achieved the important gold status, so nothing should stand in the way of a timely release.
In just a few weeks, you’ll finally be able to slip into the role of daredevil Kay Vess, who fights her way through a galaxy far, far away on behalf of several shady syndicates and has to endure numerous adventures along the way. The story is set between the events of the films Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. This opens up some interesting possibilities for the developers – such as the appearance of an absolute fan favorite.
This Star Wars favorite appears in Outlaws
Publisher Ubisoft has finally revealed the post-launch plans for Star Wars Outlaws. According to them, owners of the official Season Pass can look forward to at least two extensive DLCs that will be released over the next few months. Particular attention is paid to the downloadable expansion “Wild Card”, which will be available in autumn 2024 and will bring an absolute fan favorite into the game.
