Well, are you currently playing Fallout: London? Then you’ve probably already noticed the tough level of difficulty. Especially at the beginning, the gigantic mod is noticeably more difficult than Fallout 4. Radioactive water, high-level enemies, scarce ammunition and hardly any Radaway in the bag – it’s not just newcomers who start to sweat.
There is also no powerful power armor like in Fallout 4 (buy now €79.99 / €7.49) with which you can simply “cheat” your way through particularly tricky spots. Instead, you will initially find mostly weak armor such as leather clothes or hooligan armor. That’s better than nothing, but it’s often not enough, especially against higher-level elite opponents.
Do you need better armor? One that ideally doesn’t cost anything? Splendid! Here we show you how you can get the powerful, seven-piece Riot Police set early.
We know of two ways to get the armor set. For one, you have to take a long walk, fight your way past a few ghouls and, above all, search carefully. And for the other? You just have to be cold-blooded.
Oh yes: If you are looking for Ballistic Weave in Fallout: London, we have a tip for that too!
Riot Police Armor: How to get the powerful armor set
To get your free armor, you need to go to the Prilladog Food Factory. You will find the factory right near your starting point (Train Wreck). Just walk north until you find the factory on the shore.
Source: PC Games This is also where you will get your first companion, the loyal dog Churchill. For this reason alone, you should visit the factory early. After you have recruited the four-legged friend, enter the factory. Go right in the entrance hall, walk through the office room full of desks and computers until you reach the factory area. There you have to take one of the paths up to get to the office of the factory manager Harvin. Wait until the room is empty and take cover. When you are sure that no one is seeing you, crack the small safe (see picture below) that is located at Harvin’s round table. Inside you will find a key card.
Source: PC Games Grab the key card and head back out of the factory area towards the exit. On the way you will find a locked door on the side, next to which there is a card reader (see picture below). Use the key card there to open the door. Now you can use the elevator behind it to go down one floor.
Source: PC Games When you get downstairs, you first come across a terrible secret (oh wonder, there’s something not quite right in the factory!). But you don’t need to worry about that for now. What’s much more important: The floor is guarded by a single NPC called Cal, but he lets you do as you please.
Cal is wearing a full suit of Riot Armor, which you can grab. To do this, however, you have to kill the careless guard in cold blood. So make sure you don’t take a companion with you who might be bothered by this. It’s best to sneak up from behind and attack Cal with a strong melee weapon. The stealth bonus causes you to do triple damage, so 1-2 hits are usually enough to take out the guard.
Source: PC Games Since there is no one else in the room, no one is bothered by your cold-blooded action. You can therefore safely grab the complete armor set (underarmor, helmet, breastplate, 2x arms, 2x legs). The values and quality of the armor depend on your level. However, all armor pieces can be upgraded several times – if you do that, the Riot Police armor will certainly serve you well for a long time.

Alternative: There is also Riot Police Gear in Fallout: London!
If you don’t want to commit cold-blooded murder and would rather earn the armor honestly, there is another option. To do this, you have to go to the Bromley Police Station, which is hidden in the very southeast of the map. It’s quite a hike. The “Swan & Mitre” quest, which you receive shortly after starting the game, also takes you directly to the area.
Source: PC Games Enter the building either through the front or back entrance. There are several Feral Ghouls in the station, including an elite variant. So have a powerful melee weapon ready.
Source: PC Games Here you can find the complete Riot Armor Set:
Left leg: In the center of the station are several desks. On one of them you will find the left leg armor.Right arm: Go up the stairs to the first floor and search the first room on the left. The arm armor is on an empty cabinet.Left arm + helmet: Both are on a lower shelf in the storage room (immediately to the right when you enter the building through the back entrance).Right leg: This piece is on a fallen filing cabinet, just a few rooms away from the helmet.Chest armor: In the very back corner of the meeting room the chest armor is on some wooden boxes.

Ballistic Weave: How to unlock the crafting upgrade
And one last tip: Are you looking for a way to unlock the popular Ballistic Weave armor modification in Fallout: London? It’s really easy! All you have to do is head to the Hackney district, which is shielded behind walls in the north-east of London. As part of the main quest line, you’ll have to make a detour to the region anyway.

Long loading times in Fallout 4? A lightning-fast fix saved the game for me
Despite the next-gen update, Fallout 4’s technology is flawed. But I’ve finally gotten rid of the most annoying bug – and it didn’t take me a minute.
As soon as you enter the district, you will be drawn into a war between two gangs. You must help Rosie and Guy defeat some of Miller’s fighters, after which you will automatically receive the quest “Hurly Burly”, which you should continue playing right away. After that, you will experience another major fight in a club. Here, too, you should ideally have a good melee weapon with you.
Source: PC Games You will then receive the quest “Fashion Terrorism”, for which you must introduce yourself to the prince. But you will need appropriate clothing, which is why you will have to visit one of two tailors and complete three short tasks. It doesn’t matter which tailor you choose. Complete the quest to unlock the Ballistic Weave Mod for clothing as a reward.
Source: PC Games What makes Ballistic Weave so special? It’s simple: this armor enhancement allows you to upgrade certain simple pieces of clothing with powerful defensive values. You can even wear some of them under the rest of your armor, making you exceptionally resilient!
To use the higher levels of Ballistic Weave, you simply need to upgrade the Armorer perk and obtain the necessary raw materials. Ballistic Fibre and Fibreglass are rare, however, so you should keep your eyes open for them everywhere and mark the resources with “Tag for Search”. Have fun playing!
