AMD has decided to supplement the line of mobile 3D accelerators RDNA 3rd generation with a new model. Information about this came from the company OneNetbook. It revealed the preparation of the graphics adapter Radeon RX 7800M, which will serve as the basis for the external video card OneXGPU 2. By the way, the vendor previously released the OneXGPU model based on the Radeon RX 7600M XT.
The specifications of the Radeon RX 7800M are currently unknown. The new product will most likely be based on the AMD Navi 32 graphics processor, familiar from the desktop Radeon RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT video cards. Its maximum configuration contains 3840 stream processors, 64 megabytes of Infinity Cache and a 256-bit memory bus.
As for the external OneXGPU 2 graphics card, it will be connected via OCuLink or USB4, and for image output it has two HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0 interfaces. More detailed information about the new AMD and OneNetbook products will be released soon.
