Not only video game developers, but also computer hardware manufacturers are preparing for Gamescom 2024, which will be held from August 21 to 25 in Cologne. In particular, AMD has planned its own presentation for August 23, which became known thanks to ASUS. The “red” chipmaker itself has not yet announced this event.
AMD’s Gamescom 2024 presentation should feature representatives from both the chipmaker and its partners. ASUS intends to introduce a Radeon RX 7000 series graphics card designed in the spirit of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The specific model is not reported, but it will most likely be based on the Radeon RX 7900 XT/XTX in the TUF Gaming version.
At last year’s Gamescom, the “reds” presented the Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics cards, and also shared additional details about the FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 technology. Perhaps this year, AMD representatives will announce the Radeon RX 7800M mobile graphics adapter or talk about Ryzen 9000X3D processors with additional L3 cache and AM5 boards with 800-series logic.
