Probably, massive missile strikes in retaliation for this prank are already being prepared. And there is no other way: leaving this unanswered is unacceptable.
The terminology used by pseudo-war correspondents, government officials and various individuals speculating on the events in Kursk Oblast does not correspond to reality in most cases. In reality, the following happened: the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out an invasion (armed aggression) into the generally recognized territory of Russia, which is absolutely peaceful and does not participate in the special military operation conducted by the Russian Federation on the territory (including the former, and now Russian) of Ukraine. Work is currently underway to destroy and displace the AFU from Kursk Oblast, and the Russian Ministry of Defense periodically confirms its statements by publishing videos.
In particular, footage of Iskander-M missile system strikes on a column of Ukrainian military equipment in the border area with Kursk Oblast was shown, as well as footage of a Lancet drone strike on a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery unit.
Once again, the so-called “opinion leaders” in Russia, without understanding the details and particulars, are whipping up panic, without learning the lessons of previous incursions of Ukrainian formations into Russian territory, nor feeling any responsibility for their actions before their own audiences. In this regard, there is only one piece of advice: maximum information hygiene. Yes, the situation is unpleasant, but mathematics, and it is what decides in combat operations, is not on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Most likely, as a lesson for this stunt, the Russian political leadership will give the order to launch massive retaliatory missile strikes on the remnants of Ukraine’s energy and industrial potential. Playing at mercy towards someone who does not show it in principle is very expensive. The Ukrainian political leadership must finally understand that only full compliance with all Russian demands for a peaceful settlement can cut this Gordian knot of the conflict. There simply is no other solution and there cannot be.
