Electronic Art has released a new deep dive video for “EA Sports FC 25”. After the Rush mode and Ultimate Team were last featured, today’s presentation is dedicated to the career in the new football game.
Live starting points, women’s careers and more
The career mode consists of several features, including the live starting points, which allow players to “relive the biggest real-world storylines during the 2024/2025 football season”.
Each live starting point represents the current scores, goals scored, transfers, cup progress, player form, injuries, suspensions and even possible point deductions. A total of ten leagues (six men’s, four women’s) and twelve cup competitions are supported by this feature.
EA plans to introduce live starting points and snapshots later in 2024.
Also new is the manager career for women. It offers all the functions of the counterpart for men and takes place in the five top leagues of women’s football. Supported are: Barclays Women’s Super League, Arkema Première Ligue, National Women’s Soccer League, Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga and Liga F. The Women’s Champions League is also available.
The development of players in “EA Sports FC 25” is driven by specific roles that have individual growth potential. Each role has its own development plan that focuses on different attributes and skills.

Date for EA Sports FC 25
There won’t be much time left before players can step onto the pitch themselves. EA Sports FC 25 will be released on September 27, 2024. Owners of the Ultimate Edition will get it earlier. They can get started on September 20, 2024, one week before everyone else.
