According to a large German retailer Mindfactory, sales of LGA1700 motherboards and 13th and 14th generation processors from Intel have fallen sharply. Over the past week, only 275 LGA1700 motherboards were sold, which is only 13% of the total volume. Against this background, motherboards for AMD sockets were in great demand – 1840 pieces, of which 1310 for AM5 and 530 for AM4.
The share of sold processors from Intel of the 13th and 14th generations is also extremely low – only 11% of the total sales volume, which is 330 units. While processors from AMD were in much greater demand – 2730 units were sold during the same period.
With AMD Ryzen 9000 processors coming soon, analysts predict further deterioration of the situation for Intel. Buyers, experiencing significant concerns about the latest generations of processors from this manufacturer, are not convinced even by the extended warranty.
