We have entered a rational phase where Playstation 5 and Xbox Series are counted as current-generation consoles instead of continuing to call them “next-gen” like a few years ago. This tendency of change and movement is also supported by the fact that both current-generation consoles are also the main release houses for the latest games. The result? Like something inevitable, Playstation 4 and Xbox One are starting to lose their relevance, with few new quality games being released for them. But of course, it remains a potential market that is hard to ignore, including by EA and Respawn.
With hundreds of millions of users already recorded for both consoles, which may have a large percentage that have not switched to the latest console while longing for new games, EA and Respawn are ready to secure this one market with their flagship Star Wars game – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Respawn itself claims that this release will come with many optimization features to ensure that it can run well on this fairly old hardware. Unfortunately, there is no display of visual or performance differences for this release.
The critically acclaimed #StarWarsJediSurvivor is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 17, 2024!
