FromSoftware released the latest update for “Elden Ring” under version 1.13.2. The official changelog tells you which bugs the developers are tackling this time.
Just a few days ago, the developers at FromSoftware released the “Elden Ring” update to version 1.13. We’ll tell you here which adjustments and improvements found their way into the game with the extensive patch.
As FromSoftware announced, the next update is now available for download. As the version number 1.13.2 already suggests, the latest patch is manageable. This time, the developers have tackled various errors that the community has recently complained about.
For example, the developers fixed the bug that allowed cooperative multiplayer in some areas of Scadu Altus even though there were no area bosses present. According to FromSoftware, the bug that could prevent you from entering other players’ worlds in some areas of Scadu Altus has also been fixed.

What’s next for FromSoftware?
With more than 25 million units sold, “Elden Ring” became the most successful title in FromSoftware’s history. The expansion “Shadow of the Erdtree”, released in June, also quickly became a commercial hit. In a recent interview with the Guardian, game director and FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki spoke about the future of the Japanese studio.
For one, Miyazaki pointed out that fans shouldn’t expect future FromSoftware games to be even bigger than “Elden Ring.” Instead, Miyazaki believes that with “Elden Ring,” his team has reached a limit in terms of scope and resources deployed.
If games become even bigger, Miyazaki would have concerns about quality assurance and risk management. Miyazaki also confirmed that FromSoftware will focus on training young talent in the coming years to prepare them for bigger roles such as game director.
The studio did not reveal what FromSoftware is currently working on. However, recent job postings have suggested that a new “Armored Core” could be among the projects currently in development at FromSoftware.
