Square Enix has announced a physical version of Final Fantasy I – VI Pixel Remaster Collection, the collection with the remastered versions of the first six chapters of the famous JRPG series. In reality, it had already been published in retail format in the past, but in extremely limited quantities, while this is a distribution on a larger scale.
The new copies will be available exclusively for Nintendo Switch and PS4 (obviously backwards compatible with PS5) starting October 8th in North America and Europe, including Italy. You can purchase it through the Square Enix Store at this address or through authorized retailers, at the suggested price of 74.99 euros.
From the image that accompanied the announcement, we learn that these versions, in addition to the game disc or cartridge with case, will also include a set of stickers depicting the various protagonists of the games in the series.

As previously mentioned, the Pixel Remaster Collection is a collection of remastered Final Fantasy games from 1 to 6, with each game boasting updated pixel art graphics designed to adapt to modern screen resolutions. Some extra features have also been added, such as the ability to disable random encounters, increasing the experience points earned in battle. There are also some extras, in the form of a bestiary, an image gallery, and a music player.
