Epic Games has officially announced that all Fortnite Battle Pass items will no longer be exclusive.
The Fortnite team has joined forces in a new Blogpost has spoken out and announced that Fortnite Battle Pass items will no longer be exclusive. 18 months after their launch, the items will be available to everyone, they say.
“Items from future Battle Passes may be offered in the Fortnite store after at least 18 months have passed since the expiration of the applicable Battle Pass. A Battle Pass item may include a varying number of its alternate styles when it hits the store.”
“This change allows us to continue investing in new and exciting Battle Pass rewards while allowing future players to also enjoy the content, including outfits based on popular licensed characters.”
“The Battle Pass benefits will remain the same: pages of unlockable rewards that you can use in one or more Fortnite experiences. You will still be able to progress in the Battle Pass by playing any experiences that award XP!”
