Intel labs are hard at work on the Core Ultra 200 (Arrow Lake) processors, which will find application in both desktops and laptops. Thanks to fresh Linux patches, additional details about the mobile chips, namely the H-series of processors, have become known. The new products will feature the use of two energy-efficient core architectures.
In the Core Ultra 200 series processors, the company will switch to Lion Cove P-cores and Skymont E-cores. However, in the case of Arrow Lake-H mobile CPUs, two more LP E-cores (Low Power Efficiency) are located in the crystal with system logic. They will be inherited from the current Core Ultra 100 (Meteor Lake), i.e. based on the Crestmont architecture. The other Arrow Lake CPUs do not have such low-power cores.
The official presentation of Intel Arrow Lake mobile processors is scheduled to take place at CES 2025 in early January. At the same time, Intel has planned the release of Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) chips for thin laptops, as well as the first Arrow Lake-S CPUs for desktop PCs, for the second half of this year.
